That is why Pixpet.net is currently searching for a new Freelance Site Artist! DEADLINE UNTIL THIS SUNDAY EVENING Requirements:
Work: The required work consists mostly of sprite pixel art for new decorative items that can be placed in the home or other item types. Sometimes also other pixel arts like Badges, House Sprites, Plants etc. Please note that the illustration of new Pixpets is not included in this job (for now). Work Example:  If you are interested please send me (Komodo) a Personal Message over Pixpet, Contact me on Discord (via Pixpet Discord) OR send a mail to admin[AT]pixpet.net and show me some of your pixel artwork samples. Payment and workload will be agreed upon later. You will also receive the fancy Site Artist user tag! Komodo |

Recolors still take a certain amount of skill for it to look nice, and not everyone who does art has uploaded to the gallery or has an art thread here either due to the fact that they don't do fanart, or simply because they don't want to. hunter-z has amazing talent, but as he said, he is not the only pixel artist this site has. I appreciate that he has a great attitude, and is willing to shout out for other artists. It's great to see other artists be supportive of each other! Good luck to any members who apply, and I can't wait to see who joins the staff! |
