I think I saw the game mentioned in a flight rising forum discussion!

I joined after Dragonadopters shut down! I really loved that game, and Pixpet looked really cute so I wanted to give it a try. I forgot I signed up until today!

Left a favorite pet site after 13 years bc i just wasn't happy with how things were ran, asked a friend if they knew any and was directed here a few days ago! I used to play dragonadopters in middle school as well, so it's kinda rad seeing this kinda site still going in today's world.

Pretty sure it was because I saw the Bullture reveal on Twitter. I was in a big pixel art phase at the time, liked the art, and decided to join.

Through Discord, someone had mentioned it on a chat and decided to look into the site.

Was looking at the accounts online of people who worked on DragonAdopters years ago and I have found a journal post talking about this website.

A lot of people are asking about alternative pet sites on the Neopets Subreddit because Neopets is having... Problems. This one was mentioned, and since it was one of the few I hadn't tried yet, I figured I'd give it a shot! I definitely haven't regretted it, it's a neat little experience so far!

Brace yourself, because this is one of the stranger origin stories. I know it sounds fake, but I swear it's100% true.

Back in 2019, I was browsing TVTropes and clicked the button labelled "Random Media." It brought me to the page about DragonAdopters, which looked fun, but had sadly been shut down. However, DA had a link to Pixpet, stating that the two games were by the same creator. PP looked fun, so I decided to join.
