I visited the Dragonadopters shutdown page to relieve some nostalgia.. And boom, there it was. A banner that says ""Check out the new project by the founder of Dragonadopters which is currently under heavy development:"" with the Pixpet.net banner and a link. I played Dragonadopters since its beginning to its end, and I really miss it. Flight Rising is fun, but doesn't have the same amount of awesomeness that Dragonadopters did. I even see the emotes here are from Dragonadopters' forums too..

*sigh* I really wanna make a Patreon and donate so we can get this up and running. I miss Dragonadopters, and I'm hoping Pixpet will be just as great!

Like some other people here, I decided to visit the old dragonadopters site just to have a look at the site which I played for years when I was younger (still kinda bummed I couldn’t get a dark dragon plush, I loved those), and I saw the new pixpets banner.
Naturally, I came here and joined the site, looks like it’s going to be a blast and I’m probably going to throw all my time at this game like I did at dragonadopters lol

I went to look at the DragonAdopters shutdown page. I really miss the site, I had a ton of dragons and was even helping make new ones that we were hoping to have approved. I had to join here, hoping it's as great or even better than DragonAdopters was!

I wanted to read Thaz's last message on DragonAdopters site (I've read it over 5 times, yup, I m so obsessed) and then the ad appeared about the game, so I was curious and clicked on it. Boy, am I glad I did it.

Well I was drawing a dragon and was reminded of the dragon adopters site. Being reminded of all the amazing times I had there made me very upset. I miss the place very much. I remember being with my dragons until the last second when the site was shut down. I decided to turn the dragon I was drawing into one from DrA, a dark dragon, but I couldn't quite remember exactly what it looked like. I knew the dragon's images were saved on the DrA shutdown page so I went to visit it...

When I saw this new project pop up I was in tears. I couldn't believe it. DrA started my love for dragons and adoptable sites. I just had to join up here.

I may have come here through the love for DrA but this pixpet is unique in its own way! Its really cool and I like it already. I know its going to be a great place to be so I'm sure going to be sticking around for a long time.

Well, i played Dragonadopters for years. Big part of my childhood. When it closed I was sad. But today i was in a conversation with a mate talking about old websites we used to play so i just looked at the website and was linked to this one. The amount of people here that coincidentally also looked at the website right after the banner was placed even though the site has been down for years is crazy
