At the moment, the private trading system only allows you to trade items for PC. When you want to trade an item for an item, you have to send a trade for 0 PC, and hope that the other person will send a trade with the item you requested. This makes it possible for players to scam each other by deciding not to uphold their end of the trade. So far we have a very trustworthy community, which is awesome, but it might not stay that way forever, so I'd love a way to trade items for items securely!

Throwing my support behind this because it will be a needed system later on as the community grows. I do trust the community, but I’m sure many other players would feel a better sense of security if the trade system was more secure.

Definitely agreed. Just had an trade that took the other party five days to deliver and only with the threat of reporting them did they finally deliver. On the first day after sending my offer, they told me they did not know to use the trade function and so I explained it to them. But from our subsequent PMs, it seemed like they were trying to avoid the whole trade by delaying with unrelated matters, hoping I'd forget too.
