At the moment a lot of side features are being made/illustrated.
One of them are the badges which were already part of the page when it came online.

The badges received a big update and also act as achievements now!
There are 34 different badges to collect at the moment! Most of them are game related and reflect the games progress. There is also different badge levels, as the following example shows:



Please note that the badges are not active yet! They will be activated once the BETA opens. However you can see some examples on my userpage already:

Quick, someone report throwaway threads and spam so people who try to get easy 1k badge won't have success!

I guess it won't be that easy to get that badge. We will keep an eye on posts to prevent such things

Anyways, a nice way to keep the forum active with those badges and I guess competitionists will have some fun with the game too, collecting everything!


Also, I have a suggestion for the badges. Since they all show in the little profile thing on the top right, why not let us choose which ones we want to show there (up to either 3 or 6 maybe?), just in case it will get cluttered up in there.
As for the rest, they still can show on the profile badge section on the main profile page. (well, if it works like that)

Game Mods can take them away too, just saying ;)
