Even with the sellback feature, each individual has to choose their price. And sometimes it so happens it's crazy expensive. I can definitely see your concern, but I don't think there's much to do to solve it completely without removing a lot of freedoms in the economy. After all, no matter where you look, when it comes to sales, including in real life, there's going to be something that is WAY overpriced. Though... perhaps a way to look up usershops for specific items as a few have mentioned would help lessen the effectiveness of those types of scams. It could filter it so the lowest price is seen first. I'm sure something about searching usershops is something that's on an INCREDIBLY long list Komodo has, haha. ... Did any of that even make sense, why I find these different situations? I'm running on low sleep after work here, don't mind me. :') |

It could be useful if you ended up with a low-grade product, so you could combine other seeds to get a better one. It'd also give such low-grade products a better use than just tossing them out. Maybe charge a small fee based on the grade of the product you're reducing to balance it out. I apologize if something similar to this is already in the game, but I think it's a useful suggestion nonetheless. |

There's nothing in the tutorial that I remember about the lottery at all. I was literally spending all my money to try and keep my pets hoarding and there was no indication that this wasn't the way it was supposed to be. Like I joined a few days ago and the tutorial is still very frustrating. It tells you how to do mid and end game activities like evolving your pets and making potions and stuff but not like... How to get food beyond growing pumpkins. Cool. Where do I get seeds? From hoards. Okay well my pets don't bring back pumpkins seeds. Now what???????????? Well I guess I'll stop playing. So far the first few days I've been playing have just been an exercise in frustration because it isn't intuitive. I play FR as well and wasn't nearly as frustrated getting anything done in it when I first started or figuring out how things worked (beyond the insane lag). All the information needed to actually play the game is hidden away while all the obvious stuff (click here to bake and make potions) has 3 steps in the tutorial. Sorry if I sound crabby but I am. I shouldn't have to learn that the way you get pumpkins seeds is by helping eggs hatch by a person in the forums if a tutorial exists. |

While it was in closed beta (for patreon users) prior to going live, I would guess a lot of the beta work was focused on making sure things weren't horribly bugged and could run properly. There is probably still a lot of work to be done on ironing out smaller kinks, and figuring out better ways to do a tutorial for new players. At this stage it's really important to present issues you have in a constructive way, but also suggest how things could be done better, or how you would have liked to see a certain thing done that would have made things easier. For example; "I didn't realize that interacting with eggs gave you a large amount of pumpkin seeds. Prior to this, I was running out and was out of pixpet food. I think the tutorial should explain exactly what interacting with eggs/pets gives you to help alleviate the confusion I experienced." "I planted my first pumpkin/plant before realizing that I can combine seeds to make them higher grade due to how the tutorial is laid out. I think the tutorial should explain combining seeds before how to plant pumpkins/plants." Etc. At the moment, Pixpet is just run by Komodo coding wise and I'm sure he has a lot on his plate right now! I'm sure in the future the tutorial will change/be improved upon, but seeing as we're playing a very new website, I think it's important that we're understanding and patient with a lot of this stuff. |

Member Jan 9th, 2019 Posts: 18 Pixpets: 2 Pixdex: 3 | 5 Years ago Jan 21st, 2019 - 7:13 AM Nr. 247 #6550 1you know, i've seen people mention ideas for hoarding before, but i don't think anyone's pitched the idea of multiple areas you could send pets to go hoard? of course, the simplicity of just sending your pet out to see what they randomly bring back isn't too terrible- but it still makes "common" items sometimes seem really difficult to obtain without the use of potions, no? so why not at least create a drop-down for specific areas to send a pet? things like mushrooms could be more common in a forest/jungle area, vitamins/supplements could be more common in a city/town area... etc etc. and then from those hoarding areas it could eventually expand into creating a full-blown world map, and from there could open up even more possibilities! i don't know what all is on the list to eventually be made part of pixpets, but i think this would create a little gateway to maybe think about and implement some world-building stuff? just a thought- |

I understand that it increases the chance to bring things back, and the quantity. But it doesn't specify if this also affects PC brought back, which I think is important. Moving my starter, Viktor, from inside the house to the backyard change his SLVL from 70 to 40, and he brought back 28 PC instead of 54. He wasn't given a Wealth Potion on the hoard that brought back 54, so it leads me to believe that SLVL affects PC, as well as items. It's a big enough difference that I don't think it was just RNG. Another smallish thing to be improved for the tutorial whenever possible! c: |

Member Dec 22nd, 2018 Posts: 61 Pixpets: 222 Pixdex: 70 | 5 Years ago Jan 22nd, 2019 - 8:25 PM Nr. 256 #6772 3i'm not sure if this has been suggested before, but i think some kind of 'random events' would be a lot of fun! mainly i was thinking that it'd be cool to have random events affect hoards, but they could be implemented many different ways. for example with hoards... a pet comes back 5 hours early because it found something that it was really excited to show off and ran home! if a hoard got effected by a 'random event' then there could just be a bit of flavor text on the pets hoarding status saying what happened, and maybe some 'stats' per event... like getting that 'early return' event could give a 10% higher chance that your pet found a rare item. theres lots that could be done with stuff like this, i think! and it'd add some flavor and personality to hoarding, especially with higher level pets that take over a day to hoard. |

I've almost harvested my immature pumpkins and wasted pure seed so many times. Not one that stops you but just goes "hey, these pumpkins arent full grown, do you want to harvest?". I find that the pumpkin growing information is so dense and difficult to read that it often takes me a few seconds to locate the information. Or even if it didn't say 'pumpkim fruit' along the top until it was full grown. Like it says pumpkin blooms or unripe pumpkins. I lost a crop of four very pure pumpkins because finding the information is hard :,( |

I'm not talking about the sorting option, I'm talking about the ability to filter. =) In your inventory and in the cooking stations, you can filter your items to only show Plant Products, Decorations, etc. |
