The friend list exists on the right side of the PM page and it allows you to see when friends were last active (if they haven't chosen to hide their activity).

On the one hand I'll admit that it's kind of hidden. On the other hand, the PM area seems like a good place for it since that's where you'd theoretically communicate with friends, assuming that you and your friends don't use Discord or any other instant messengers.

...I guess my vote is leaning towards moving it somewhere noticeable, lol.

Overall I think the biggest problem is that the gameplay is really overwhelming for someone new. I still don't understand the game and I read the tutorial. Twice.

A lot of things are not explained very well in the tutorial. Instead of checking off a list of reading, actually make the player do the task. Example: on the seed growing page make the player place, fertilize, and plant to continue the game.

It's a lot easier to learn by doing than reading.

Up interactions per day as well. With everything else on a timer, there's really not much to do besides click and capping it at 6 a day is a surefire way to get newbies bored quick.

I also feel like 6 interactions per day is extremely limiting and doesn't seem to make sense for a pet adoption site. I would be fine with fewer/worse interaction rewards and having unlimited interactions because it feels really bad not being able to help the people that helped you. And helping an egg hatch 10 minutes faster seems to be almost nothing as my starter egg is only at 73% after 15 hours and 10 interactions :/ I do know about the instant hatch potion, but I'm one of the people who don't want to use it, so I also suggest making the very first starter egg hatch a lot faster.

For the first pet to hatch: Everyone gets some potions to start with, including a Hatch Super Potion, which makes an egg hatch instantly. You can use it on the eggs overview page by pressing the "Hatch Instantly" (or something like that) button.

I think it would be neat to have a sort of history for cooking, like a brewing/baking/refining history list so you can see which ingredients failed so you don't do the same mistakes again. ^^'

I saw someone say that when you move houses, any plants that are in pots are destroyed. Is that true? If so, I think that's something that should be fixed. It takes a long time to grow plants, and especially if you're growing some valuable high-quality seeds, it just leads to being a deterrent from moving. In real life, I certainly wouldn't throw away my potted plants moving from one house to another. I would love to see Pixpet potted plants be transferable to a new house as well!

I think the issue is that you have to remove all items from your house when you move, and you can't remove pots unless you destroy the plant inside. So you just have to wait for the plant to finish growing before you move.

One thing that might be nice, if possible, would be to split interactions between eggs and pets, so you can interact with 6 eggs and 6 sets of pets? I know how agonizing the wait is for eggs, but interacting with pets gives better rewards. If the interactions were split, I would gladly do both.

Yes, I was thinking eggs should have a better reward than lottery at the very least, since you're helping someone out much more than with the lottery, but BabyCharmander's idea would be the best option if it's possible.

But even if the plant has finished growing, it still keeps producing fruits over time. I assume removing a pot with a fully grown plant still destroys it, correct? Would still be a pain to deal with, especially if you're at a late-game state where you have lots of plants that you've been nurturing.

Ah, I forgot that the plants keep growing fruit... too used to Pokémon. Hrm.

Also... could the houses page show the ACTUAL prices of the houses? I sold an item I actually needed because I figured it would be more worthwhile to aim for a new house first, not realizing that the houses cost 1000+ more coins than it actually shows.

i just joined yesterday, but i already noticed that it's not very easy to get more pets. a low chance of getting one when your pet goes looking for stuff (that includes a lot of waiting usually) and the auction house, which is very unpredictable (and also includes a lot of waiting). sure, my pet found one egg... but it was the same species as itself.

maybe some sort of limited lottery or a minigame or something that had even a low chance of giving an egg might be good? i'd like to be able to actively collect more eggs to hatch but there's nothing to do but wait and hope to *maybe* get one. as a newbie, this puts me off a bit. even a flat-sale function that wasn't on the users' pages (how am i gonna find someone selling an egg on their page when i can't search for it?) would help a lot.

(unrelated to the above)
on the "combine seeds" page, why not have an autofill option? if you happen to have a, say, x5 stack of blue seeds, it would be quicker to be able to put all of them into the slots at once and not click "add one to combine slot", wait for page load and scroll back down to the seeds.
