I agree with this idea. Currently the site discussion board is used when doing guides, but this can easily get clogged up and guides are always welcome and going to be needed.

I can see a sort feature at the top of my page when going to the auctions. I am able to sort by item, colour, rarity etc. It’s at the top, a row of orange buttons to select, and under them a couple of drop down selections to choose from.

If this is missing on yours could this be a bug? If so, it might be worth mentioning it in the bug thread and let them know what browser and system you use.

Oh, okay, I get what you mean now, although I personally find that the current search function works okay for me. The search reduces the list to a managable amount usually. I don’t know if that will change as the site becomes more popular.

It would be nice if the search option automatically went back to default/all items when you leave the page. Sometimes you might forget you’ve got the search feature set on something for example, and would be missing out on other items added to the auctions.

Small thing, but since there is a cost to changing names I think a confirmation for naming a pet could be helpful if people accidentally screw up entering the name they want

I've only just started but I don't think naming is going to be a super frequent thing so I wouldn't think it would be too intrusive

I did a dumb and somehow must have missed the text entry box entirely / was sort of expecting it to take me to another page so my first pet unintentionally had the default name :P - Probably because I just came from dragon cave where it feels like they make you confirm absolutely everything even though there's no restrictions on name changes

I would LOVE special event Pixpets! And if there's any worry that people who miss out might end up with an empty spot in their Pixdex, the special pets could reappear every time an event happens. (So, for example, a special Valentine's Day Pixpet could be findable during the Valentine's Day event every year.)

I'm not so sure about this. I'm all for special Pixpets and items during events, but what ticks me off the most about exclusives is simply because they are exclusive. You have to wait a whole year till you can get it again. An event shop where prices are much higher would be great if exclusives ever come to be. Most likely if there is one, PPT would be the way to go if you missed them or maybe around 150PC per exclusive when the event ends.

Also, I think a favorite color system for profiles would be nice! Pixpets and colors are a recurring theme in this site and it would be cool to know what color items people like to go for. The favorite color system would be the most proper way I guess to do this, it already includes almost every color that would be considered a favorite. Unlike the Pixdex, if the user picked neutral it would still show as their favorite color. So users that have multiple favorite colors, or don't have a favorite color have that choice.

I would love to get a notification when a pet hatches!

I have a few suggestions for the forum!

- If you add unicode by accident, ctrl-z doesn't undo it and you have to delete it by hand, so fixing that could save someone 2 seconds lol

- Adding unicode means the typing bar goes out of focus and you have to click the text box to continue typing your post. Would be nice if your typing bar would appear between the brackets so that you could start typing in that specific font right away.

I only skimmed this thread so forgive me for repeating if someone had already mentioned it.

As a new player, my first goal was to buy a new house to get more pets to send to hoards and get the game pick up pace for me. When I looked at the Buy New House page, I see the base price listed and assumed that that's the price I have to go for at least. I didn't check further the first time, so when I saved up for the 250, I was slightly frustrated (mostly confused) when the house wasn't actually the base price but 1030 total.

The thing that got me was I couldn't buy the house at the base price. I had assumed that maybe I could buy it at the base price and upgrade per block, based on how the stat table is laid out with the "20PC/10PC per block". Quite discouraged that I couldn't do that, and felt mislead. Maybe I'm getting ahead of a system to place later, but it's just a tad misleading and kinda frustrating. I'd recommend just putting the total price instead of the base price for now.

It's been a slow grind for money, especially since I'm not much of a forum interaction person and I haven't really been lucky in terms of hoard returns and auctions (since it's a new market, all natural course of a game). I have no issues grinding and building money, but I personally think it would be better to just be upfront about the total price instead of listing the base price without the option to buy it and scale up slowly as you go.

Housing > Buy New House > See Details. You see the total price tag there.

I'm guessing it's for realism, like the tax on auctioned goods.
