The first reference is much more accurate to how she actually looks, and the second one is to show that the backs of her legs are tan. Feel free to make her less bulky/fluffy if it makes drawing her easier!
Other information (Type of expression, pose, etc.): I like the frontal pose from your first vector example, and any kind of happy expression works!
