Like, I'm not pleased that we were all told the site was going away, went through all the goodbyes and had everyones accounts wiped... only to have the site get reopened again later. But I'm guessing komodo really did intend for that to be it when he pulled the plug at the time. Even so, it still stings a bit that none of my characters would've been deleted if someone had offered to keep running the site at the time, you feel me?

Anyways, it will be nice for new players to get to experience dragonadopters, I remember having a lot of fun with it, and I hope they will too. Especially with someone new and passionate behind the wheel to bring in new features in the future, things could be better than ever! Don't let my sourness ruin your excitement if you're joining at the relaunch, I really do want it to go well for y'all

You know, I never even played Dragon Adopters at all, but this might be a grand opportunity to try it out now!

I remember I played DA all the way back in 2008. The memories I have of it I remember fondly. I was a kid and loved my first dragon, which was an Air furdragon! I fell in love with the Dark Dragon design when it released. I remember at that point I even drew my old spyro oc as a DA Dark Dragon once. Fun times! I still have all of my profile and dragon screenshots saved ;o;

Also one time there was a site-wide contest held, which kid!me participated in. Something about designing a new dragon breed. I actually ended up earning an honorable mention back then. No prize or anything, but I remember how proud I was!! for winning an honorable mention. I was basically really new to the internet back then and that fact of having my design mentioned by site staff blew kid!me's mind.

I don't think I'll be making an account on DA2.0, because I probably won't stay interested for long, but it'll be nice to see it sprout into activity again! I wish all the luck to the new developer!
