[AGAIN] Cant perform actions with Items 2.0 (33 Posts and 237 Views)

Description of the Bug: When going to Item Inventory, i am unable to switch or perform any actions due to the buttons (Place Item/Open Capsule, Sellback,...) being unresponsive

Steps to reproduce:
1. Go to "Item Inventory" via "Items" or "Item Inventory"
2. See that the default "Place Item/Open Capsule" is not highlighted
3. Press any other button
4. No response

To note here:
1. I did open 20 Capsules just before i noticed this issue
2. It only affects "Item Inventory" actions, i can still sort by "Placed", "Recieved", etc.


What should have happened?
1. "Place Item/Open Capsule" should be highlighted by default and the Items shown should have the correct Action Layout (Dropdown Boxes showing area and XY coordinats).
2. I should be able to switch between actions by pressing the remaining buttons.

What did happen?
As seen in screenshot, no action is highlighted, i cant perform any actions and i cant switch between them, my menu is stuck in a sorta "viewing" mode.


My System:
Windows 7 Home Edition
Firefox 84.0 (64-Bit) (up-to-date version)



Update/Additional Info:

It does work on mobile for me, but not on pc.

Update 2:
Okay, i cleared my cache (not the cookies/logins) and it did the trick seemingly!

Issue solved on my end!

Update 3: (March/June)
Same issue again, but couldnt be solved by clearing cache (even with cookies/logins)

This time, mobile is affected as well so it seems to be an issue with the website

Update 4:
Solved on my end without doing anything, but others complained as well.

I'm having this happen too, though I was able to place a new ground cover about 3 hours ago... but not I can't place anything.

Same steps as Yubelchen on the "reproduce".

I'll add that I've tried Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge (the new one that uses Chromium), and mobile version of Chrome on Android. Also tried "incognito" on Chrome to see if it's an extension or something.

I have not tried clearing my browsing data as it was working earlier today. And Edge is never used so it didn't have history for the site :(

Same here, I also tried going to the markets option to the inventory and didn't work. Can't try it on pc since I only have my mobile.

I'm having the same issue. I tried to go to sellback but none of the buttons are working.

I'm using windows 10 and the latest version of google chrome.

Added info as well: It worked on my computer at work, which uses Google Chrome.

At home computer, Chrome and Edge still say no. Phone version of Chrome also says no

Thank you for this! I was having the same issue on the Mac version of FF, but clearing the cashe did the trick! Now I can finally start making more room in my inventory!

I've just gotten this issue today after opening 28 capsules D:

I went to clear my my cache (which was a Gig worth of data!) but I still can't do anything with my items or eggs :(

Some players have had luck switching to a different device. Might be worth a try if you have one!

Yes, fortunately it still works on my phone! But it's rather slow, and I'm planning to buy a new house soon :(

Perhaps when I have the time I could try reinstalling my browser to see if it'll fix the problem? Might need to use my uni's computers in the mean time if I wanna place furniture haha

I would suggest this as well if clearing the cache (maybe do it again?) didnt work as its clearly an issue with the browser handling memory, as i could just not delete cookies/login info and it worked out for me.

Hope its gets fixed soon for you!

Yay it's working again! I cleared out the cache again and specific data for websites (I guess?? it was under "manage data") and that did the trick :D

Got the same bug now after opening two capsules using the Capsule Opener. Clearing cache, deleting cookies, restarting browser and computer, nothing works.
Guess I'm not placing a window today. :D

Just today got the issue again after opening 9 capsules and couldnt solve it yet like last time

Something about capsule opening really breaks the game seemingly
I will try a few things and see if i can solve it on my end or staff has to do some investigating

Was happening for me only on my phone, just started this morning. Opening capsules and adding items to the market/usershop work on the computer for me.

6 buttons Place Items/Open capsules, Sellback, List on Market, Create trade, add to storage, add to usershop: do not autoselect upon page load, once they are selected - dropdown fields/ checkboxes that are to the right of items do not appear at all.

Issue appears on smartphone, browser: Google Chrome, probably haven't updated the browser for a week or so due to auto update via Play Market being deactivated due to low free space on phone.
