Unfortunately there's no way to cancel your bid once it's placed. I imagine that might make auctions confusing if players could do that, but I'm willing to hear your thoughts on it.

As for the value of PC, since our active playerbase is so small, it's difficult to pinpoint PC's value. Personally, I base the value of PC on the price of houses, since those are the only items in the game which truly have a set price (not counting sellback prices, as items aren't meant to be sold at those prices on the player market imo). When you look at the house prices, you can get an idea of what's considered a large amount of PC.

What I can tell you about the auctions here is that 1000 PC is a lot of money. Anyone who spends more than that is very determined to win an auction.

For now that's all I can think of, and while I don't have a precise answer about the value of PC, I can provide price ranges for specific items and eggs if you like. For example the egg that you bid on, I would say 50 PC is actually a good price for a Rare egg. I believe Rare eggs are the third most common type of egg, after Common and Normal eggs, so you probably wouldn't want to spend more than 100 PC on it unless it's a newly released pet.

We do tend to see a lot of low starting bids on both the egg and item markets, and ironically these are often at the sellback price or lower, which is dirt cheap. I'm not sure if this is due to price confusion or just an attempt to entice more bidders, or even a combination of both. It's definitely possible to nab an egg at those prices, but yeah, 50 PC is still fairly cheap.

I like your idea for a confirmation message before bidding; I think that would be fair. ^^

As for legendary prices, it depends on the legendary. I've made a list below of how I personally price each legendary, though not everyone may agree with me.
