The Rules are fairly straight forward.

Please submit your designs here in this thread. Come up with a design for your dream pixpal, it is important to note that pixpals come in colorations of 3, so if you have an idea for a theme, go nuts and most of all HAVE FUN. ;)

You do not need to be good at art, just have fun expressing yourself and your idea.
You do not need to pixelate your designs as this is merely conceptual.
Do describe your idea clearly if you're unable to draw it out to give us a better idea of what you're trying to convey. Try simple doodles.

-Anyone can participate (except judges kek)
-No entering traced or stolen art
-All art must be created by yourself, no using F2U or P2U bases
-Entries will be vetted for plagiarism during judging phase, will be disqualified if found to be doing so.
-No use of downloaded textures or clipart
-Scoring is not weighted on how well you draw, your ideas is where it's at.
-You may submit more than 1 design, but will only be awarded for 1 if you win.
-Disclaimer: Please be aware that by entering the contest that the final product is property of pixpet.net. You will however be credited for your creation should you win.

Entries submitted to the wrong place will not be valid.
Late entries wil not be entertained.

Judging Period will be inhouse amongst staff for about a week at most.
Winners will be announced in news & contacted privately as well to arrange for shipping.

Prizes are as follows (All winners will receive a badge)
Winner : Patch + 150 PPT + 15,000 PC (value $30), Pixpals will be redrawn by site artist and become an official design.
Runner Up : Patch + 70 PPT + 5,000 PC (value $20)
3rd Place: Patch + 30 PPT + 2,500PC (value $15)

Inspiration

I realized that an idea i had a while ago would be an adorable Pixpal! They're sort've a mashup between beetles and a chambered nautilus! i think i even posted the original to the site at some point but i forget if i did or not ^^;; i did redesign it a little to make it look a bit more inbetween the two!

It's a little old, but it has different colors so i figured i'd include it as well ^^;;

crumblet- first attached image-
yellow(baguet), brown(rye), and black(burnt) variations.
I went all out on the color variations on this one, I believe that you
meant only recolors/minor edits for variations but nothing ventured
nothing gained u know; so I figured I try! ik its not colored but is
basicly just bread colors so i dident go threw the truble /w\ (the
"rock" is a stale biscuit witch i thought was funny) here are the
(pal?)dex entries for each variation!
yellow- this crumblet is in the shape of a dinosaur! it wishes it
could run faster on its stubby little legs but is happy to be slow
enouf to always smell the flowers!
brown- this crumblet is in the shape of a teddy! It is the biggest of
the crumblets and has a huge heart to match. It always wants to cuddle
with its favoret pixpet!
black- this crumblet is in the shape of a frog! It is always warm to
the touch and leaves a trail of ash wher it has been. it is a
perpetual downer but always trys to hope for the best.

crag (crab+slag also sounds like craggy)- second(+3ed, 4th+ 5th)

purple, green and white variations. so theres this huge slag rock pile
at this summercamp i go to, and it has so many geodes (and focels too
but thats irrevelenvent lol) so thats why i wend with slag over geode
in the name. adicional notes= the salty geode item would be colored to
match purple varent, crags are about the sise of a closed first but
are as heavy as a bouling ball and finally here are the dex entries
white- this crag is known as the calmost vareation and some pixpets
condcider it to be wise.
purple- this crag is always worried about what might go wrong, and is very shy.
green- this crag is high energy and a bit antagnastic! but once it
gets to know a pixpet it is always kind.

so these are my pixpal entries! (im way
invested) and that the colorations are low qulity(had to do them on a
chromebook/w a mouse), and i hope you like them! :)

Have some amphibi-friends! No friend sticks by your side better than a talotl, literally, good luck getting the slimy dude out of your fur lol

Inspired by frogs, salamanders and axolotls, talotls are bold, friendly little pixpals, having no natural predators due to their incredibly potent toxin. Luckily, that's trapped under their skin, and not coating them, so they're safe to pet!
