The Rules are fairly straight forward.

Please submit your designs here in this thread. Come up with a design for your dream pixpal based on one of these shadows (You can right click one of the shadows and draw over it.), it is important to note that pixpals come in colorations of 3, so if you have an idea for a theme, go nuts and most of all HAVE FUN. ;)




You do not need to be good at art, just have fun expressing yourself and your idea.
You do not need to pixelate your designs as this is merely conceptual.
Do describe your idea clearly if you're unable to draw it out to give us a better idea of what you're trying to convey. Try simple doodles.

-Anyone can participate (except judges kek)
-No entering traced or stolen art
-All art must be created by yourself, no using F2U or P2U bases
-Entries will be vetted for plagiarism during judging phase, will be disqualified if found to be doing so.
-No use of downloaded textures or clipart
-Scoring is not weighted on how well you draw, your ideas is where it's at.
-You may submit more than 1 design, but will only be awarded for 1 if you win.
-Disclaimer: Please be aware that by entering the contest that the final product is property of pixpet.net. You will however be credited for your creation should you win.

Entries submitted to the wrong place will not be valid.
Late entries wil not be entertained.

Judging Period will be inhouse amongst staff for about a week at most.
Winners will be announced in news & contacted privately as well to arrange for shipping.

Winner : Treehouse + 150 PPT + 15,000 PC (value $30), Pixpals will be redrawn by site artist and become an official design.
Runner Up : Treehouse + 70 PPT + 5,000 PC (value $20)
3rd Place: Treehouse + 30 PPT + 2,500PC (value $15)

I cant think of a good name for this lil dude, but the shape reminded me a bit of a cape! So i made a cute lil mantis fella with a leafy cape! Colors would be Green (or lime!), Yellow, and Pink!

Cute colorful dragon/dino pals! :) the colors are orange, rose and gray (with gray being the rarest one). I don't have any good name ideas for it, I was thinking of just calling it "Cresty" or something like that x'D



and another one, Fluffox. This one's yellow, indigo and purple. They're little tricksters who love their extremely soft and fluffy tails and will do everything to keep them shiny and clean.

Got hit with the teeniest bit of inspiration for that third shadow, so I decided to get this out there!
Working names are Tritrail, Rayfin, or Seersoar. A more fishy-looking pixpal, since we don't seem to have a lot of those.
Though not necessarily limited to water, as they're small and light enough to float in the air. They practice intricate dances to impress those around them, though its not uncommon to find one accidentally getting their tails tangled.

Forgive me, I'm not very good at digital art, but I threw these together using hand drawn art in a print off of the outline, and coloured them in MS Paint. I call them Mojira as a joke, and because I can't think of a better name. XD Anyway, hope you like my little lizard/butterfly babies.

okay so i dont have a lot of time bc of other art obligations BUT i saw this shadow and idk this just kinda hit me. i call them Sluggish (slug + rubbish). theyre lil slugs that are so sticky they pick up parts of their environment! top right has picked up some moss (green color), bottom righ has picked up some berries (magenta/red/pink color), and bottom left picked up some sticks and mud (brown color)!

Dont have many free time but i tried doing something.
I added some more body features on them (like the tails), but in general, tried to maintain similar to the original shadows.



1º shadow – Bearmer (beaver + armor)
Those beaver like pixpal love collecting all kinds of wood they find on pixpal real. They somewhat addictive to theater, pretend games and role playing games, so they construct all kinds of fun disguises and tools with the wood they collect to play around.
Color 1 – Brown – Soldier Bearmer with shield and sword made of wood.
Color 2 – Gray or black – Bearmer with dragon disguise
Color 3 – Magenta or Purple – Bearmer with a princess disguise, maybe?

2º shadow – Chameleaf (chameleon + leaf)
A strange chameleon that live in forests, they losed with time they hability of camouflage, so they wear leaves and hide on plants. In spring, they start to wear colorful flowers and berries to attract partners. On winter, they wear tree stumps, branches and snow when the leaves of the trees are scarce.
Color 1 – Green or lime – Normal leaves
Color 2 – Neutral - colorful version with flowers and berries
Color 3 – Brown, white, cyan, blue or aqua – winter version

3º shadow – Cuthieres ( cuttie + amphiptere)
Those tiny, cute, fluffy amphiptere have hair and feathers constantly growing, so they general need special care from they owners, turning them famous models on hair style contests. In nature, they fur is generally a huge mess, making them resemble big pieces of tangled wool with wings.
Color 1 – White, orange or Brown
Color 2 – Rose, Magenta – Naked neck version
Color 3 – Neutral? Dont know, but i imagine this one being a huge mess, something like a sheep but full of trash sticked to their fur.

I did not make sketch of color 3 due to lack of time, but i hope the description can give a idea about how they are.
