Hey there @FlyByKime, if you have enough ingredients to make potions, what you can do is brew a Seed Potion and an Item Rarity Excluder, then give them to a pet before they hoard. You can see the recipes for these potions by going to the brewing station, scrolling to the bottom and expanding the "Show All Brewing Recipes" bar there.

Or I can give you some Tricolor seeds if you like! I understand if you'd rather find them on your own, but the offer's on the table 😄

Tricolor is probably one of the most (if not the most) forgiving plants in terms of watering. The base watering interval is 1 day 11 hours, and if you add a watering fertilizer before planting, it becomes 1 day 18 hours. Almost 2 days you can ignore it!

But yeah, potions are the most reliable way to get Tricolor seeds. A grade 100 Seed Potion + Item Rarity Excluder will guarantee at least one result with a rarity below 33%. What's important to know is that there are other seeds in that range that you might end up with instead, but it's still the best way to increase your chances of finding it.
