I really like to share my crazy ideas! I know Pixpet.net is not a ''click adoptable'' game just like PokeHeroes, or Virtuadopt, or MagiStream but since we need more in game activities i was thinking about the possibility of some kind of system that uses more the Pixpet Interactions side and then i got an fun idea. I will call it Social Game, and it should be similar to Pixpet Adventure. First, Players will need to ''deposit'' theirs pets at an neighborhood (some time ago i saw someone sugesting an neighborhood system, but that will not be the same thing i think?). Just like Adventure Squad. After depositing them, players will need to customize them, choosing a Personality for their pets (shy, serious, cheerful) and Interests that their love or don't like (reading books, pumpkin enthusiast, football player). This can't be changed so the players need to choose well. The objective of the game will be exploring the neighborhood and talking to other Pixpets. Just... that. I remember some old unofficial Pokémon games that show a map and them each time the player walks, theres the possibility of finding something or someone. Something like Pokémon Vortex (heres a article in Bulbapedia about it) The talk part will have a huge influence on the personality and interest path because some pets can't be compatible. It also should look similar to The Sims game. Pets will have ''exclusive'' dialogue about their Interests and Pets that don't like those things will not be happy to hear those. Features: Meeting List/Friend List/Relationship Meter: All encounters will be archived. Pixpets from different players can be friends... or enemies. Depending on the dialogue /interaction options. Neighbor Points: The more the Pixpet interacts in map, the better! Can be received from interacting with map features and others Pixpets. Milestones/Point Shop: Place where players can exchange their points for prizes! I made some poorly edited images for fun to illustrate better my idea! Adventure is more text based. This game idea should use maps with already existing furniture (to keep things simple and easy, also, the Pixpet images already exist in the 4 directions). I think the dialogue/interaction between Pixpets and map will be the hardest path in game coding. Other ideas may include a sistem of basic needs (pets needs to eat, sleep, shower or use bathroom) that can affect the relationships and players will need to watch out for those. (lets believe Pixpets feel those more in Human Realm since in Adventure they only sleep... after lots of days?) Sorry for possible English erros. |
