I was lucky to get two new eggs recently, so here are my newest children.


I had to keep in mind that Sawrotag's evolution has a completely different color, so I shouldn't commit to any names related to pink and such. However I was also out of any good crocodile references, so I went with the best I could, the river Nile.


Now Goht is right back into reference town, named after Goht the robot laser goat from Majora's Mask. XD

This is Nopal!!

I know troffinch are meant to be tropical birds, but for whatever reason I thought it'd be cute if one was off in the desert eating cacti and termites- so I made up a lil personal story for mine that has him flying off for miles, winding up in the desert and befriending some of my pets over there! I think it's cute and I like to think he found his name over there, Nopal, for the prickly pears/a common type of cactus (that is also eaten by people).

Azura brought me a Xeldron egg, and I did an insta hatch because I couldn't wait. <3
I've called him* Varas, named for the word varanus, my fabourite genus of reptiles.
Being the initial pet I wanted the most, I thought the connection was fitting!

Tiamat is the name of a primordial goddess of the sea in Mesopotamian mythology. She is described as dragon-like and represents chaos. The Mesopotamian pantheon is one of my favorites.

Jal is named after one of my ocs, who's kind of a punk and also an idiot.

I'm definitely not gonna list all my 23 (active) pets origins but the potentially more interesting/known ones.


My Luputrix's name doesn't really have a lot of meaning, but she was my starter Pixpet and I wanted to include her in here!
I'm pretty bad at names so I just asked my friend to throw the first name she could come up with at me and it was Sasha.


Krimbee is named after one of my DnD characters, who is a Goblin Druid and it seemed pretty fitting.


These two are named after two of my OCs over on Deviantart Primarily. Nagaro and Nai'Gara.


Proxima is named after my cat, Proxy, who I occasionally also call Proxyma.
My Sealott is named after my mom's cat Aramis or Ari for short.


Lastly Sokka because.. for whatever reason Indigoat makes me think of Sokka from ATLA |D

I got my Drax's name, Azule, from my Eastern Dragon I use to have on DrA (DragonAdopters). As for Roxxy....well, she just screams the name Roxxy. <3

Ferdinand is named after the fictional bull from the children's book, and I just thought my pupper looked like a Scotty to me.

My Mobath is named Bombyx because that's the genus of the silkworm! (and silkworms are the larvae of a moth, so it was fitting)

Here's another one! Sue refers more to what dinosaur she will be right now... she's named after one of the most complete T.rex fossils discovered!
