I keep forgetting this site exists, even though I keep the tab open on my computer. I often remember it many hours later and I'm rushing to come back and water my plants. They often get neglected for so long that they go down several grades by the time they're ready to be harvested. I'm not usually like this when trying out a pet site I recently start playing.

Yeah, but I keep growing them anyway. I need as many food pellets I can get. Large pixpets at high levels are gonna consume a lot of food for every hoarding they do.

I guess I should ask: what would be a good feature to add to keep people coming back?

I'd love to see world exploration. The very first image you see when you go to pixpet.net almost looks like a prototype for interacting with our pixpets.
I think one of my issues with not returning is the lack of pixpet personalities (for lack of a better word). Once you've got them, the only thing that distinguishes a Mobath and an Albino Xeldron, gameplay wise, is how much food they take up and what they bring back.

honestly i've been on the site every day since joining, even though I didn't think i would be initially very engaged. i can definitely see how it'd be easy to forget about, though; i'm just kinda obsessive about checking these kinds of sites lmao.

Even though I have it pinned to my new tab page, it's kinda hard for me to forget about it when
(a) I'm in a Discord server for the game.
(b) I have friends that joined and also actively play.

However, the only aspect I forget on the site is the forums. XD

I want to be able to remember it better and be more engaged, but there's not much reason to. I rarely think about it anymore; I only get on for about 2-5 minutes a day to water plants, check hoard/cooking timers, and... well, that's pretty much all I do anymore.

The main thing that's made me lose interest is the growing waiting time for hoards. My Merrilee takes over 35+ hours now, not including resting time. And she's not even level 100. Being excited about getting eggs doesn't matter much to me personally anymore either, since I'm well on my way to having a full pixdex already. I could keep fighting for my spot on the pixpet leaderboards, but... eh, doesn't hold the same thrill it did before. So yeah... You're definitely not alone in the game slipping your mind.

Don't get me wrong though, I don't have such little interest and enjoyment of the site that I wouldn't ever get on it again. I wouldn't be supporting it if that were the case.

Pretty much have the same thing as everyone else says, I've just been trying to pop on once a day if I can remember to start hoards if I have any available, water plants and pumpkins, and do my interactions. I still like it, but the wait times for most things make it so I don't have a reason to stay online much more than that. (Also the forums aren't super active at this point, probably from the lack of things to do.)

I'm looking forward to the addition of more features in the future! I know the site is new and developing content takes time so I'm willing to wait :)

I think it's just because there's too much idle time and waiting. If the forums were more active, I think it'd be easier to remember, at least it would be for me
