Hi, I'm Lucky. My favorite series would probably have to be Warriors by Erin Hunter. I've been reading it since... maybe 4th grade, and now I'm a highschool junior. So... yeah, for a while now. I'm waiting to get my hands on the 5th book of the Vision of Shadows generation, but I haven't had much luck with that. To whoever's reading this, it's nice to meet you. |

Maybe it's a bit embarrassing to admit as an aspiring novelist, but it's been quite a while since I've read an actual series. I did read the Warriors books, but became disinterested around the time they relocated to the lake. When I was younger, my favorite series was the Inheritance Cycle, especially the firs and second books in the series, Eragon and Eldest. Of course, The Lord of the Rings books were also a favorite of mine as a child, although I had to reread them later on because I didn't understand most of the words or structure the first time through. Beyond that, I have read other series, I just can't recall what they are at the moment. |

The dragon then hatches... and bonds with him. Permanently. The story progresses through his adventures to escape a tyrant king intent on destroying the dragon, while along the way learning the history of his country, known as Alagaesia, the methods and rules of magic and the use thereof, his connection to a disbanded peace-keeper society known as the Dragon Riders, and later on all manner of crazy scenarios and fantasy tropes. The first book in particular has a very strong Star Wars influence--minus the science-fiction, of course. Also the dragon is female and can talk and stuff so that's cool too. |

Yeah, I kinda know about Eragon. Never really read it, though, but I always wanted to. Sadly, at the time, my mom wouldn't let me read it or watch the movie which came on CN back in... uhhh... mmmaybe 2008? 2010? I don't really remember. @Chicken_Raptor |

Read the book, then if you must watch the movie. I'm not saying that as a "book always does it better" kind of thing, the movie is legitimately... let's call it rough. |

But I do have fond memories of the Maximum Ride series and the Series of Unfortunate Event. It's been ages since I've read the books, so I don't know how close exactly the Netflix series follows the book, but it seemed to be faithful enough to what I remembered. (Plus Neil Patrick Harris as Olaf is just gold) Maximum Ride I remember starting way back in middle school, and I had only gotten around to finishing the last book of the series last year. It was a really exciting series at the beginning, but it kinda turned into your typical teenage romance drama around the last 2-3 books. Even after saying it was the last book, they ended making another final book to the series, and IMO it was better than the book before it, focusing a bit more on some of the action and situation rather than thrown in romance nonsense (but I guess that's Teen Literature for ya). |

It was pretty good, but since I had a really short attention span back then, my interesting in it didn't last that long, unfortunately. Maybe I should try and get back into it. |

Book 1 is called 'The Name of the Wind' and Book 2 is called 'Wise Man's Fear'. The 3rd book is still in process and has been for the past gosh knows how long. I want it to come out nooooooooow |

It's one of the only like, 2 movies I've ever excitedly seen in theaters more than once. It does help that Garret Hedlund is hot I also love the Twilight series and movies. I'm not a very critical person... usually. If I don't like something everyone else is rallying against as well, chances are it's really bad. But BRO. I love SO many series I can't list them all. My current series obsession is All For The Game. The Foxhole Court, The Raven King, and The King's Men. Let me warn you, all 3 books should be stamped with trigger warnings everywhere, and chapter 11 of The Raven King might just eat you alive even if you're not much a trigger-sensitive person, but they're... so good. I will scream my love for Andrew Minyard from every rooftop within 10 miles for at least half an hour straight per roof. And the author is really active with the fans and answers tons of questions on her tumblr blog, bless her. |

That was the book series that got me into reading in the fist place. Other that that i also hold Age of Fire and Lord of the Rings in high regard. I am currently reading A Song of Ice and Fire. Am currently in the middle of A Feast for Crows. |

Her son, Todd McCaffrey, has now taken up the mantle. But Anne's books I feel were the best. This series was what originally sparked my love for dragons, she will always be remembered for her beautiful stories. |
