I love that this thread is mostly about Elder Scrolls lmao. It's the only game series other than Pokemon that I'm willing to buy a new console/PC in order to keep up with it, so that tells you my level of obsession :x

I'm the type who started with Skyrim and worked my way backward. I did play ESO too and I really enjoyed the Coldharbour plot there, especially since one of my favorite things about Elder Scrolls is the various daedric realms and just how different they look from the rest of the game. I love seeing how the devs imagine those realms, and Coldharbour was particularly fun to see since I had a bit of context from the Dawnguard DLC (Skyrim). They never actually show the realm in Skyrim, so it was exciting to see that and Molag Bal. Sadly I got a bit burnt out on ESO after completing that questline, but I wouldn't be surprised if I develop an itch for it again someday...since it's Elder Scrolls lol. Skyrim is still my true love though, and I'm patiently waiting for ES6. :0

Like Lorie, I'm also slowly wading through Pokemon Violet still (the base game). The beginning felt like such a slog that I stopped playing for months, but recently I picked it back up and I've been gaining some momentum and having fun with it. I will say that compared to PLA, Scarlet/Violet feels clunky, as if it uses a completely different engine (no clue if true). Dunno how they managed to make it feel so different and unpolished from a very similar game that literally came right before it. But other than that, I love hanging out and having picnics with my pokes <3
