I think it's a fantastic idea to have patron-only features, and I can understand doing that for pet bios specifically, since those are more for fun. I'm less keen on putting user profile descriptions behind the patron wall, though, because it's a staple for many pet sites that allows people to not only identify themselves and their interests, but also outline their personal boundaries when it comes to interactions with other players. I'm worried that turning this into a premium feature right out of the gate would be somewhat like taking all public drinking fountains and making them coin-operated. In other words it could be a turn-off rather than a way to draw in more patrons (edit: because people expect a feature this common to be free). I do understand the concern for abuse, and that's always a risk when it comes to customization of any kind. I've noticed that there are only two game moderators, so it's certainly realistic to be worried about implementing this. Maybe with the public release being so close by, it might be time to think about getting more moderators? I know of a few players I'd nominate.

@VampVixen also makes a good point. Even on big sites like Flight Rising, what I tend to see in equal amounts is people using their profile descriptions properly, or simply not using them at all. Granted, no one can predict what this community will be like, but I think it's better to err on the side of trusting the players until they prove that they can't have nice things.
