Hello! Yes, you can make a Custom Box transparent simply by pasting an URL of a transparent image after bgurl=

Should look like this:

[boxbordercolor=93BFCA|bgurl=upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/3/33/Shogi_22.svg/2000px-Shogi_22.svg.png]this is an example[/box]

You can't get rid of the border (as far as I know), but you can adjust it's color by changing the letters after boxbordercolor= to make it look as if it were transparent.

Sorry, I should have probably clarified, but the same idea applies to half-transparent images as well. Instead of using an image that's fully transparent paste an image that's semi-transparent:



The semi-transparent image I used here is:
soranosrestaurant.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/semi-transparent-background.png

Just make sure you're changing the bgurl= and not the "Text Background Image Link". They're similar but not the same. Good luck!

Though I didn’t use any of the available BBCodes, instead I edited that image to have that box there.


It’s more of some sort of fiddling around with GIMP than using any codes/images from other websites.
