Since it's now lost in the Discord chat, I just want to add to this report what was demonstrated there, which is that the ease of cheating at Roodoku isn't dependent on the help/pause button. We were shown that a puzzle could be completed in 2 minutes using a sudoku solver, without pausing the game. So preventing cheating in Roodoku may have less to do with removing the ability to pause and more to do with reducing the attractiveness of cheating. But I won't say more than that because I'd like to avoid another debate like the one that happened on Discord. ┐(´∀｀)┌

I don't know if you saw the ensuing convo in that channel, but I wish it were that simple haha. I do still feel that the fairest solution would be to move the PC reward to a new, non-puzzle minigame that can also be played on mobile (since the other minigames can't). The problem is that the players who really enjoy Roodoku don't want the reward to be moved when there's no way to prove that anyone is cheating. And I do understand that point, and normally I would take the stance of "Let's not punish everybody for something that only a few people will do," but this is such a unique case of incredibly easy cheating that I have to insist on prevention. Whether people are playing the game fairly or not, the unfortunate situation is that Roodoku rewards a significant amount of PC and it's just too easy to remove the challenge with a solver.

Of course, we still don't know whether or not Komodo condones the use of solvers, so I could be typing all of this for nothing if he does condone it. :P

I understand this problem, but since there is no ranklist, I do not see this as huge deal as we knew from the beginning there are ways to cheat by letting a solver solve it. You can also simply copy paste all into a solver without pausing anyway.
