Hey all, I have a few suggestions that may or may not have already been made, but thought they would be helpful for new players.

Community Garden
A big piece of public land (50×50?) that new players can harvest pumpkins from. New players would be designated as "inhabiting the beginner shack". Other players can donate fertilizer and/or pumpkin seeds to the garden to be planted. Anyone can water them.

Lost & Found
Once a day (or once every 12 hours?) new players can take an item from the lost and found for free. Non newbies can donate items here, or the L&F can be stocked by items players sell back to the server. Alternatively, new players can get one item but can only choose the type of item they want (ingredient, deco, seed, etc). Again, new players would be designated as "inhabiting the beginner shack".

Fix the exp curve
The first few levels that pets gain from hoarding go by really fast. Waiting many hours after the first 2 or 3 hoards kind of sucks. Maybe make the first few levels take a little longer to get through so newbies have a reason to come back sooner?

Slow pumpkin fertilizer positive effect
I can see no advantage to this unless I'm missing something lol. Maybe slow growth can create "giant" pumpkins that (at grade 100) have double the pixpellet output of a regular pumpkin?

Other suggestions:
-Ability to upgrade shop stock space
-Increase search text length (some full item names are longer than the space allows)
-Give Sunobra a naga (multi-headed cobra) evolution
-have a lottery plays counter beside the arcade tokens
-maybe a memory matching game or something for pixcoins, math games are no fun lol
-allow a users uninhabited houses to be sold with furnishings/deco inside (no plants/pumpkins) as an alternative instead of just buying/selling to/from the server all the time

Another mechanic to help narrow/specify hoards: locations!
Certain locations would take longer or shorter to go to hoard
Certain locations may only be available certain days/time of the week
Some may be only accessible to pets of a certain type (like, pets that can fly, or pets that can swim, etc)
For example, sending a pet to a mountain may only be possible for pets good at climbing, or that can fly (or if its a snowy mountain, a pet that can handle the cold). The mountain would have a higher chance of finding rock/mineral/gem type ingredients? In addition to whatever potions the pet has.

There's the slow pumpkin fert for people who can't always get on pixpet and so that they have the time to harvest the pumpkins at the desired stage.
Do you mean lottery plays as in how many interactions or the counter for each day? Though community garden is a great idea!!

ah, I didn't think of that, I guess the time delay is helpful in that sense ^^;

For the lottery plays, I meant like how many plays you have left per day, like you only have 3 game arcade coins per day. tbh I almost forgot I hadn't done them today until I randomly hopped onto someones profile and saw the lottery lol

There’s already a counter for how many interactions you have left! It’s under the interaction count/recent interactions of the person when you’re on someone’s profile.

loving the community garden and lost and found ideas! they sound hard to implement, but could be fun. the closest we have is a discord giveaway bot where players donate and people react to the bot on the discord

That's just it tho, it's not easy to see at a glance on every page like all the other players resources are. Plus it would even out that space with 3 counts per line lol

It's weird that only certain areas on the website show certain information on the sidebar (for example, online players can only be seen from the forum section of the site)

My pieces to this:

-Ability to upgrade shop stock space

This seems useless, you can sell items via User Shop or Auction House, the key is to use both for effective output. You got 5 User Shop places, use them for Items that users would like to have immediatly but are cheaper (Pumpkin Products, Plant products, Evobar stuff) as you can quickly clear up space again since these products can be farmed so you have a constant supply and the 5 Auction House spots for Items with changing values (mostly Decorative Items, even more when seasonal) as not everyone wants/needs them.

Of course, this is the split i handle things, but some Decorative Items, expecially those that are more looked after, are worth putting in the User Shop (or throw memes in)

Effectively, you got 10 spots to sell stuff from, thats more than enough when you use it wisely like regulary change your Plant Products or Pumpkin Colors (Red, Black, Indigo, Orange, Gray for Halloween and Green, Red, Blue, Gray & White for Christmas for example)

-Increase search text length (some full item names are longer than the space allows)

Not needed, use the search text clever.
Instead of writing "White Dragon Scale" just enter "Dragon Scale" as there exists 2 Item with said words in the name, The scales themself which you will need 3x99 to make the elixire and the elixire itself (which is good to see if you rather buy the scales or go diretly with the elixire)

Also use the filters, want White Pumpkins? Set "Pumpkin products" and "White" as your filters, you will only find White Pumpkins and White Pumpkin Flowers then, if you want just Flowers enter "Flower" as your search term.

Fix the exp curve

I would say its fine as it is, this is no simple cashapp game just a pet game, its not designed that you are online for many hours during the day to play.
This might sound insane, but thats how this kind of game works.
Not to mention that Pets at max level need like 1d and 10h for a run, but thats what the Super Potions like Instant Hoard Return and Instant Recover Potions are for (which are cheap as hell, best use during seasonal with other potions)

Better Idea would be giving new players 1 Starting Pet and a Pixel Pet potion for find themself a second pet immediatly (or do you get it now? I forgot what you get at the start), having 2 pets still doesnt make the waiting better (use it to check out all the game possibilities, read the forum, check the guide, play minigames, see the wiki, etc) but double the loot at the start helps getting the gears running.

The game in its current state, has still a sorta "Endgame" problem, so having a rougher start kiiiiinda counter balances it??? In a very wierd way tho

As already mentioned, its for players who cant change ther schedule to harvest the Sprout Pumpkins (and even more important Flowers) on time, ya know, people got a life and work,



While i like the Lost & Found Idea, there are no real "Beginner" Items.
Everything is free game and because of that, you are very, very likely that the Lost & Found Box gets overloaded with all color types of Pet beds and other less seeked after Items which makes it less of a Beginner Friendly Item exchange and more a dump.
Better go to the Dealers Den, there are a number of people happy to gift Evobars for your Starting pet so they can find more heavy Items and generally look better.

The Community Garden is a double edged sword as it is.
Currently, we have a pretty stable Pumpkin Market with about 15pc for a single Pumpkin, 30pc for Sprout Pumpkin and around double for Flowers, which are important for the big boy Potions.

So this will just cause the prices to drop more as new players could harvest them for free and sell them, which is not really the goal of it i bet.

Solution for that is to limit the daily harvest and restrict it to Pumpkins alone and not Flowers/Sprout (which should involve more "work" aka a timer) so new players can benefit form it while not causing the market to collapes

Thanks yubelchen for shooting down all my suggestions but not suggesting anything to improve the game's very obvious lack of anything for beginners. real helpful :v

I still think more shop space would help, especially for people like me who have piles of stuff and no way to get rid of it except dump to server, which seems like a waste. I still haven't found anything I can sell that's a good income source. Tried auctioning a pile of pumpkins but there were no takers. I only sometimes get bids on eggs so those usually get dumped to server too.

I feel like plants are kind of "OP", maybe they should die after a certain amount of harvests? 10 or 20, or maybe it would depend on the plant? Also maybe "destroying" a plant/pumpkin could turn it into a fertilizer? Something like a growth one, not too rare but it's helpful.

Still think it would be cool to be able to grow giant pumpkins either with special fertilizer or seeds?

The daily login pixcoins capping out a 7 a day is useless, would be nice if it was at least bumped up to 10, maybe more for longer login chains.

tbh if the awesome peeps in the discord hadn't helped me out I'd've probably already quit lol the newbie grind sucks when there's nothing to really do except come back to send your pets out and douse your plants in water. I barely play the sudoku game because I hate it, please can we have more games that give pixcoins? x.x

No need to be rude, i offer the best advice i can give instead of just saying "yeah sure" to all things you suggest and see it backfire.

The only thing that makes the game hard for beginners is the slow way to earn money, its the only thing seperating a new player from an old one and thats mainly because of your house limiting your pets and plants.
Once you get Tier 2 Housing (Modern Two Story House/Renovated Farmhouse/Designer Two Story House; European Lakeside House is not worth it tbh) you are midgame as 5 pets really speed up the game from my experience.

And you didnt read my post correctly then, i did offer suggestions to fix your suggestions, like limiting the pumpkin harvest or offer an Pixpet Potion at the start so you quickly get a second pet your lessen the wait at the start.
Tho i have to agree that for "Lost & Found" i really cant offer a fix to that as i dont know how, whenever i see that in games its really just a dump.
I could only think of adding a fee so people only throw in with the real intention of donating and not to have a second way to clear thier inventory.

Thats how economy works, stuff like pet beds are really not seeked after because they are so common, unless someone in the dealers den searchs for a certain color and eggs really are so common (unless seasonal) that the only ones that are worth much are fresh released ones, but these drop in price within one-two weeks like any other, tho sometimes you get lucky and someone is so unlucky they look to just buy one

Tho pumpkins in the Auction House go good as far as i see, remember that User Shop price for these are 15pc each so nobody will bid on them when they make a loss (ShadowWolf is the top pumpkin buyer i see in Auction House) so if you wanna make some money, put them in your UserShop (i am usually buying pumpkins as my sleep/work schedule is pretty rough)

I do agree that plants as they are are OP, hell, all plants i current have (save for Aloevera) are at 69+ harvests with Trinuts at 150, that they have no limited lifespan is really broken and i just have so many seeds, i started to sell them to the server when i reach a full stack to keep.

Turning plants into fertilizer sounds neat, pretty useful for new players but will lose its charm later on unless we get the limited lifetime for plants as you can only use fertilizer before planting and just keep hoarding that stuff otherwise.
Still a good idea to keep in mind, maybe it can be combined with withering plants so you dont lose out completly when life hits you and makes you unable to water them

Daily Login is more for achievments i think, the money is just a little extra. Maybe get a bopnus whenever you reach a milestone like every 30 or 50 days?


Having another pc giving game would be amazing, but i guess thats what the upcoming Adventure Mode is for, so i am hoping for that to make the whole game better in pretty much every way.
