So, every time I go to get on the forums I notice every single recent activity is actually one of those spammy forum games and not actually content related to the game. This regularly causes me to almost miss new suggestions and important topics that we want people to see. I think suggestions, item commissions, etc would get more attention if they weren't constantly buried.

My proposal is simply don't show forums that don't contribute to post count in the "Recent Activity"; most of them are single sentence posts (or even less) and not really important to keep up with.

It should just be for the forum games. That's the only spam one. The other forums hardly even get used and making user's sales/buying and giveaway threads easier to notice is a good thing.

As I've said on your post about the state of the game as a whole, most players do not play forum games which is what made you think the site is dying in the first place. Additionally, there would be more activity on the other forums and their threads if forum games weren't always taking up the 5 slots.. that's kind of the point of this suggestion.

There are definitely more than 5 posts in other forums that aren't months old. I don't agree that seeing non-spam would make the site seem more dead. Most non forum games just don't get seen by many people because within a couple hours it's buried under spam from the same few people in the same few threads; if anything only seeing forum games in recent activity all the time makes the site look dead.

Literally every forum has forum games, it's not what people want to keep up with and it's not what we want new players to think the only activity is in, if that makes sense.

+Support on BK47's idea, customization is important and this site doesn't have enough it it in general. For forum notifications and recent activity, being able to choose what you see is definitely the best option. From a code standpoint, making it an option really shouldn't be a difficult addition
