Hey there @Clamie_Ty, welcome to the site! To answer your question, scrolls can only be used within the adventure currently. The reason they can be moved to your main inventory is so that you can import them to a different pet's adventure (or sell them). For example, let's say you're adventuring as a Drax, but you find a scroll that can only be used on Troffinch. It's no use to Drax, so you'd probably want to export it and move it to your Troffinch's adventure.

To move items from your main inventory to the adventure inventory, first make sure the pet you want to give items to is on your adventure squad, but has finished their adventure. If your pet is still in the adventure, you'll want to take them to the Entrance Gate in Gateway City and click "Finish Adventure" in the bottom right. This will place them on standby and save their progress. Then you can import items from the main inventory by clicking the "Equip" button next to the pet's sprite. On the next page you can select the items and quantities, then click "Give for Adventure."

As a small tip for some quest items, you may want to be careful what you export to the main inventory, since most items can't be put back into the adventure once removed. Of course scrolls and adventure potions are safe to move back and forth, but things like decorations and ingredients can't be moved back. If you find evolution items, those are safe to export since they're intended to be used on Vivid pixpets outside the adventure.
