procreate is ok for pixel art, you will end up having to make a costume paintbrush tho, and it's a tad awkward for it. personally, I recommend these too uwu

- make8bitart.com/ (really user friendly and intuitive, a few glitches tho and a tad simple, I mainly use this for casual art/sketches)
- www.piskelapp.com/ (has layers, alt brushes, and various other tools, but a smallish canvas, but can make sprites! I use this one for smaller art and my actual game developing jazz)

both are free tho so that's neet tho :3c
