I often find myself lost when searching the recipe list under the Cooking tab, so I thought it'd be neat to have the option to list them in alphabetical order instead of the recipe number order that is being used now.

For example:
We have the Lucky Bean Stew (recipe 100) at the top of the list, followed by the Pixeldust Stew (recipe 101), then Sapphire Stew (recipe 102). My suggestion is to put the Amethyst Stew at the top of the list, then the Aquamarine Stew, then the Emerald Stew. Same for the other recipes, keeping them grouped by type as it is now. (the stews, then the powders, then the salt blocks).
