A small thing that irks me sometimes is forum activity. There are already a lot of topics where I don't really care to read every single reply. However each time someone replies to one of those topics the whole forum section is marked as unread on the forum main page. So I have to check the section to make sure there isn't also a new topic that I would like to read.
I would like a follow/unfollow option on each topic and only topics that you follow show up as unread (completly new topics should allways show up as unread of course^^)
If that is too much at this stage of the game, a third variation of the little egg icon that shows that there are new topics (not just replies) would allready help a little too^^
