...I couldn't think of a better name to describe this, but it looks like evolving your pet while it's sitting on a table makes their evolved form think they're no longer on a table. Here are some screenshots to better demonstrate what I mean:

In both cases the pet remains on the C4 square, it's just that the evolved form ignores it's on a table. Moving your pet around fixes that. It's a very minor bug for sure, but still, I figured I'd let you know.
