I've noticed, especially as players progress in the game and new features are added, that the number of times the site has to refresh to display new information increases drastically over time. There are some instances where I feel this could be reduced without compromising gameplay, and would reduce the amount of time spent waiting for the server to respond to queries.

The new hidden likes/favorites boxes in the gallery, for example, could simply be introduced as a hidden element on the page that reveals or hides itself when the button is clicked. It's placed in-line with other segments on the page, so doing so would not disrupt the flow of the other items, but the experience would feel much smoother.
