heya! I'm just here to suggest a skin/paintie system for pixpets! I'm not sure if this has already been suggested or not but I feel like it could be a good way to get some form of customization in on your pets, without the need of accessories.

Basically, the way this would work would be similar to how other sites handle it;
you buy an item to submit a sprite edit/recolor to your pixpet. You wouldn't be able to change the size or major parts of your pixpets and would have to stay within the lineart provided.

Maybe some little lineart edits could be allowed, like giving a pixpet extra fuzz or a velibolt extra tail feathers, but that would something the admins would have to decide upon.

Let me see if I can remember how this works on a site I use to play on:

An item can be purchased, let’s say for this example the item is a potion of some sort, xeldron overlay potion, Tuxo overlay potion, etc.

The member then draws an overlay picture for their pixpet, this would be for the main still image in your pixpet inventory only.

The member goes to a page where they can submit their overlay designs for approval using the potion as a submission fee.

If the image is approved, it then becomes available as an item which can be applied to the pixpet species it was submitted for.

If the image is declined, the potion is returned.


Images usually must not overlap the original image, or only by a small %, and any line edits inside the design must be under a certain % so that the original design is still there to a greater degree.
