This is my primary suggestion. I'd like to see something like a folder organization system where we are able to organize our Pixpets into different folders and/or lists to help declutter the inventory page. I think this could be an extremely useful tool for every user, especially since I'm sure everyone organizes things very differently! Players could put a specific species in one folder, or a specific color in another, and it would help immensely for those players who have over one hundred Pixpets who don't want to click through several pages just to find the pet they need. I think this would be universally helpful to just about everyone on this site! Maybe the folders could have an attached feature that allows us a short description as well?

From what I can see with our current search bar, I can't type in "red" and expect all my red colored Pixpets to appear in a neat list. The same applies for "Velibolt". If I type that in, I can't pull up a list of all the Velibolt I've hatched. From my understanding, the search bar only works if you type in the name of one of your Pixpet. So, for example, if I search for "Calli", my Finngriff will show up.

But, here's the issue, as much as I love all of my pets... I admit I can't remember all of their names... so the search bar is entirely useless for me at this current moment. I think the only way I could reasonably use it is if I stopped naming all of my pets so I can search for their species that way, but I love naming my pets! It would be a LOT easier if I could just type in, "purple" or "Troffinch" and have the search actually match to the pets individual parameters.

And while I understand the filters do exist so we can organize by a specific parameter, this doesn't really help a player who has lots of pets from having to click through multiple pages to find the pet they want. So, why not give us a search bar that's capable of pulling up those search parameters? It would save myself and others a whole lot of time searching for the right pet I need for hoarding with a simple search.


Any opinions or additional ideas are welcome!

The storage boxes are good, but they are only capable of holding eggs. I do use pixpet storage for a few eggs, but it still doesn’t help me in cleaning up my inventory when it comes to hatched pixpets. That’s why I would love some type of organization system for them.

Thank you for your input, but I’m going to have to disagree that are suggestions are the same. Mine covers the idea of introducing a folder system and a search bar that covers more areas of a Pixpet’s information other than their given name. Your thread suggests only a color and species filter... but I’m unsure if that means like a sort button or not. I’m having a hard time seeing what you mean by “practically the same”?

Your compact view idea is nice, though! Hopefully you get more support on your thread!
