So, there's been a bit of an issue with hoards and the like. Everyone is getting either common things so much it takes up enough space to decimate the already expensive inventory until you sit down and sell it or you get so many legendaries that you see people buying Noo-Longs and Xeldrons for 500 PC each. There's an issue here that is only recently being addressed, and I wanted to make a forum thread here to show off what's going wrong and open a discussion on how to fix it possibly

So, common things are everywhere, and the oversaturation of them is kind of ruining the feel of the game. Sure it makes getting a rarer item more exciting... but what happens when you don't get a rarer item? What happens when for weeks at a time the only glimmer of hope is the occasional dragon scale or jade bead? You start to lose interest, as I have in the past with this game. Now that I'm supporting it, I want to see more people grow and flourish in it. I want to see it become successful, and more than it already has! which is... fairly difficult when the main part of your game is overrun with brick walls and plastic furniture. This isn't the worst issue, but there is some balancing that needs to occur.

On the other end of the spectrum. What we in the discord have dubbed "The Legendary Curse." Where you find 1% chances, 0.8% chances more than anything in the 20-60% ranges. It's downright impossible to find anything in the midrange. It's a strange limbo, as Christovski said, and I want to bring that up. everything you find is high grade now in markets, and you need low grades to find that middle range. High level pets find the rare stuff the most. There is a drop in economy for low grade items and there is a lack of excitement to be found with finding a legendary anything nowadays. I celebrate finding the gothic rug, a 55% chance as of writing this. That is a highlight, when it should be commonplace. When Colocrow was an 85% chance I found one of every other pet before it, including Xeldron. There is a slight disconnect here and I do not know how it could be properly fixed.

Alright this concludes my comments, please open a discussion below on ways to improve because it pains me to see my favorite petsite in such a strange state.

I agree with you. I ALSO do that. I just can't keep all of these items so I end up selling them. I also do tend to find rare items and even legendary items before normal ones. I remember when I was hunting for aquariums and decided that I couldn't be bothered to find them naturally so I hunted the auction for a good two weeks to get all of the colors. Some things are as intended and some are not...like the Dianthus and very rare slabs are going for so much not because of their rarity since they are found somewhat frequently but because they are the only garden items that are very rare. They are required to get a good slvl front yard...I think allowing the mid-range stuff to be found more frequently would be great! For the garden itself, adding more rare to very rare items in the garden would help specifically that market.

I agree with this. I tried to get the albino colocrow and got a bunch of unicubs, a noo-long and a krash. I used 4 of each grade 100 pixpet egg potion and rarity excluder, plus super pixcoins to speed up things. Then I used a decoration potion on my black dragon to get halloween stuff I got the piano right away, it's 1% rare. lol

Another thing I noticed is that when I am hunting for liquid pearls (rarity 50%), I can't seem to get them. I used over 10 grade 100 potions/evobar ingredient potions in my gray pixpet team and I would get liquid diamonds and other rarity 60 potions, but no liquid pearl. :C (and it was even stranger that I would get a lot of eggs, fertilizers and decos.)

On the other hand, the flooding of legendary eggs is a good oportunity for resellers to stock them to sell later.
