So I got this idea when I was on a different forum post but what if people can't log on to pixpet? I know plenty of people(They don't play) but can't log onto games like this because of some other crap in their lives. So I was thinking what if there was a way to freeze your login chain? Like you go into settings and pick "Freeze login chain" then you can pick the time you want, of course you can't log on and you don't get your pixcoins but say your on day 129, if you set it for 3 days when you log on the chain will be 130 days, not 132 days. You also might have trust issues and don't want people on your account.

Exactly, its a chain because you log on daily to continue it.

But i get the problem, what if you take a vacation but are not allowed internet on the trip?

I think to find a middle ground of keeping the sense of a chain & continue it while not being able to come only, how about making that "freeze chain" service cost something?

Like, lets say, you can freeze a chain for up to a week (you need to renew the service then) for the price of 500pc? (just an example)
It doesnt progress at all, you cant get money back from coming back earlier and it still helps keeping your chain going in the future when the service runs out.

The price of freezing should be significantly higher than what you get from the login chain bonus itself and to simply discourage freezing it for no reason.

Any suggestion/changes about this concept?

I agree with Yubelchen and Icearashi. I understand why something like this would be wanted, and it can certainly feel unfair when our login chains break due to circumstances that are out of our control. But if we want a feature that keeps our login chains intact, I think it shouldn't come without a big cost. I like Yubelchen's idea of having to pay more PC than the login chain is worth in order to freeze it. To add on to that, maybe a player who breaks their streak could buy it back with PPT, and they would only have a short timeframe to do so (24 hours maybe?). This way, not only would we have a new PC sink, but also a new way to support the game.

Maybe each day you dont log on you pay 25 pixcoins, or 1 pixpet ticket. I know a lot of people probably cant buy pixpet tickets so pixcoins would be expensive per day so at least everyone can, and you have pre pay and you cant log on after you log off until the day that you payment is up. this would keep people from just not logging on and paying for your chain back.(You cant pay once your chain is broken)

ooh, definitely on board with paying to keep a login chain, could help sink some currency while also ensuring that people who have put a lot of effort into their chains aren't forced to lose it through some circumstances they don't really control.

Because like, anything could happen, from vacations to internet outages to emergencies. Players deserve at least a chance at preserving / restoring their chains, since well, a login chain system is pretty merciless otherwise; miss just one day and it's all gone. I get that it serves to reward dedicated active players but no one is safe from uncontrollable irl obstacles that don't really reflect on someone's true activity level.

I think this is a great idea
