Pretty sure there was a rule about not commenting on old posts or something (I can't find where I could re-read the rules) and it confuses me. Most posts are at least several months old and to me, that is a dead topic, but when every topic I'm interested is dead, how can I comment at all? Could I make a new topic with the same exact theme?

Edit: Okay wait, I found the rules but now I don't see it mentioned? This is very strange since I've been on multiple forums before and none had this rule about bringing up old topics, so I couldn't have just imagined it.
