Hey there @gunkywizard -- am I correct in understanding that you want to post images at their original resolution in the forums?

While Pixpet's bbcode doesn't have tags for resizing images, I might be able to help you find a different solution if I understood a bit more.

This is also the first time I've heard of that forum ettiquette you mentioned, and I've been using forums since the early 2000s! My understanding of general art ettiquette is "Only repost with the artist's permission," at least that's what I'm familiar with 😅

Ohh, pixel art. Yeah, that can be tricky to resize without causing blurring or quality loss. Our bbcode can't help with that, unfortunately D:

Sorry for the late reply! And yeah, unfortunately you'll have to resize it with a program or app. I wish I had a better answer for ya D:

As for crediting the artist, I'd say if you remember their username (even an old one), then credit them -- but if you don't remember, then don't worry about it.

(Of course we respect artists and if someone contacted us with proof that their artwork was being used by one of our users without their permission, then we'd absolutely remove the artwork from the site -- but other than that, like a lot of sites we're sorta lenient about that stuff because it's impossible for us to investigate every single profile.)
