An anatomically correct, horrible no good sea star like what Pokemon did with Toxapex would be my dream come true. The crown of thorns starfish is probably my all time favorite animal just for the juxtaposition of how stunningly beautiful they are with what nasty and horrible predators they are. A colorful coral Pixpet to go with it as a sort of "counterpart" naturally follows and I think most people would like a coral Pixpet even if they don't necessarily like sea stars.

I'd also LOVE love love a mosquito. I so rarely get to see them in monster collecting games, the only one I can think of off the top of my head is that one I saw in a Yo-Kai Watch screenshot? And Buzzwole of course but it doesn't count because it's not scuzzy and fluffy which are like, the two basic components of mosquitoness.

Also this seems obvious but a spider please? Any kind of spider at all? How have we gotten this far into development with not ONE spider. Somebody make a spider happen I'm begging you.

Actually an addendum- while writing this I checked the list of existing Pixpets and there isn't one invertebrate. Not a single solitary individual. The closest we get is Mobath and that's clearly a mammal in every other way so it doesn't come close to counting. I didn't even see any of the popular, "cute" invertebrates, like where are the crabs? The snails? The butterflies? Not even an octopus??? Let alone the kinds of ones I'd like like leeches or flies. I'm about to go berserk over this!

Just hand over the Aquatic pixpets already! Wheres the fishes the shrimps the whales? Those penguins and sharks gotta eat after all.

The cutest isopod ever. With a pretty colorful shell and two big adorable eyes.

More lesser known fantasy creatures like an Enfield(fox like creature with falcon characteristics seen on medieval heraldry).

More prehistoric creatures other than dinosaurs like a terror bird(think a carnivorous ostrich with a giant hawklike beak and itty bitty wings) and giant crocodilians like Sarcosuchus and Kaprosuchus. Or a flying Dunkleosteus!
