its 1 am and im emotional about music. i know theres a general fave music thread but i always feel weird posting in those. cuz everyones got really soft pretty pop/chill beats stuff and im like... hey kids... wanna listen to meshuggah...? xD

so i figure i can make dis thread for a specific taste, lol.

i havent been listening to much metal lately honestly but tonight i played brendon small's galaktikon (guy who did dethklok, if youre familiar) and i forgot how much i love it, aauughhh. in a similar vein, ziltoid the omniscient by devin townsend is incredible, and probably one of my favorite albums in general.

I listen to a lot of metal, but I wouldn't consider myself a metalhead. I love Metallica, Korn, Slipknot, Disturbed, and System of a Down to name a few. Pretty sure those count as metal, I'm horrible at knowing what song goes in what genre. :P (Especially since there's a lot of songs that could easily be multiple categories... Babymetal's Iine! is a good example of that.)

I don't listen to anything like what you and Nivinti mentioned though. As far as I know, anyway.

There's, like, maybe one Disturbed song I like, along with a few System of a Down songs, my favorite being Toxicity. Doesn't help that I'm more so an alternative and punk rock fan myself.
