Since mains is a good conversation starter,,,, I started ult. with Link.
My primary main is Pit. Secondaries are uh,,, sword boys. And Bayonetta. I guess?
I play VS on random mostly, same as my friends, so I don't really have secondaries.
Pit just stuck since he was my main on Brawl too.

Hey, I main Pit too (alongside Dark Pit)! My secondary main probably has to be Incineroar, he's just so fun to play as.

Some of my friends got smash ultimate, and it is a FUN game!
So far, I like the characters I've mained as in the past (Ike and Dark Pit) but I also enjoyed playing as some of the newer characters, especially King K Rool, Ridley, and Inkling (among others). I also love Isabelle, have any of you performed the assist trophy glitch with her? It is super entertaining and chaotic, would definitely recommend.

afaik the Isabelle glitch still works. I'd definitely recommend trying it with 2 people if you can, since I think it would be difficult to do it with one person.

And yeah gotta agree, spirits are an interesting addition.
Though I'm probably more excited to collect faves than actually pay much attention to them use wise whoops.

This series right here is my go-to favorite to play, and have dedicated a lot of time to each entry since Melee.

However I don't own Ultimate yet, but I've played it at a friend's house earlier in the month, and my goodness does the movement feel LOADS different from Smash 4's. Though my main issue is having to get used to not reliably dash attacking and end up jabbing right out of a dash (or at least learn to get used to actually being able to do more out of a dash).

Since Brawl, my main has always been Lucas. I just like the way he moves, and feels a bit more free in terms of aerial movement and floatiness compared to Ness's more stiffer properties. Also I love how PK Freeze launches opponents horizontally now, making it a kill move. This has to be one of the funnier buffs I've seen.

Captain Falcon and Ganondorf are also pretty good characters for me to use. Always good to style and disrespect others with their glorious moves.

I REALLY want to try World of Light, didn't get a chance to last time since my group always tends to do 1v1 competitive matches. The only thing I'm disappointed with is no more platforming exploration like with some of Melee's Adventure Mode stages, Subspace Emissary and Smash Run.


Oh yeah, I also mained Dark Pit in Smash 4. XD
Wasn't the best with him, but I did competently with him against friends.

The Isabelle glitch involves two Isabelles and their Fishing Rod special, and the result is infinite Assist Trophy spawning:
