I've taken a look at the rules and didn't notice any new formatting. But you're right, the egg trading rule hasn't been changed yet. Takk has been busy lately, but hopefully he'll put it on his to-do list after seeing your post xP

As for the "don't collect auction badges intentionally" rule, that's one I can actually explain the reasoning behind, although I've never agreed with it. xD The idea is that the auction badges are meant to feel like a surprise achievement, not something that players arranged to get. Other badges were made to be worked towards, but these were made to be acquired through natural use of the markets. Of course, if that's Komodo's wish, it's his game and I have to respect it, but I can't help but think it's a little odd regardless. No game that I know of has ever forbade players from gaining certain achievements intentionally. Some players are completionists, and gaining badges is part of what makes a game fun for them. Preventing them from doing that seems a bit weird to me. But I'll still encourage players to obey it even though I think it's strange, because it's not like it creates a huge problem in the gameplay or anything. It just creates a challenge for people who want the auction badges.
