alright! I present to you one of my favorite text games to play (and despite the long-winded name the rules are quite simple)

~rules~

you must start off your post with some variation of "he(Kyle)/she(Jen) said" followed by whatever it is they might be talking about.

you can follow up whatever it was that was said with a description of whatever it is that's going on around them or what they might be doing (optional tho)

if you ever refer to the ever-present-omniscient-non-corporeal entity you MUST call it the ever-present-omniscient-non-corporeal entity and nothing else (can I get a ho0O0oray for all the thread stalkers?!)

you may not introduce another speaking/acting character, kill Kyle or Jen, break the back and forth or break forum rules.

and finally to start us off (not following rule one cuz I'm not replying lol)

"oh, hello Jen! iv not seen you in a while, what is it that you've gotten up to lately?" asked Kyle
