question 1- for the pixpet contest is it a multi-stage line or a single evo? (most of my ideas are multi lol)

We are technically looking at single, however a multi as a whole package is indeed not a bad idea at all if we think it suits the site. Idea is to have fun and express your idea, so if your idea is a baby to adult, I ain't stopping you :D


question 2- for the pixpet contest are we allowed to propose new gamemacnics? ie a gender split or an egg that can hatch different versions of the same pet, spical evo requirements (one of my favorite concepts has a split evo depending on whether or not its inside or out as it evos, or another cool one that requires two of the same pet) and so on and so forth (this is obvs irrelevant if the contest is a one stage pixpet lol)

It is possible. But likely will be classified as two seperate entities in pixdex kind of like a variant if it comes down to that.

question 3- do we design the pixpets egg

Not necessary but you are welcome to do so.

question 4- so the pixpals have a 3 color variations right? is it just that their stats id is different or will there be a visual cue as well?

I was wondering when someone would notice the fine print on this one haha. Visual cues, I confess I left in the ? ? in the announcement post image on purpose. Unlike pixpets being an established feature, We have the opportunity to release pixpals with unique images/looks to the same species and we took it.

question 5- do we design the pixpals origin rock?

Not necessary, but again, if it's part of your idea as a whole, feel free to.

question 6- how many tabs/stages/sections(idk what to call them srry) are we meant to make the adventure advent?

No limit. Can be long, can be short, what we're looking at is for something fun suits the world and lore that players can enjoy playing through.

question 7- are we allowed to have battles initiated in the advent?

Yep, you're free to be creative in that area.

question 8- are we allowed to give rewards for the advent?

Yup, you're free to suggest an item reward. However should the quest win, it's one of those, we may or may not give out said item if its something that will unbalance the game and may replace it with something else.

question 9- if submitted once can we resubmit a prier entry for the next contest of the same catorgory?

You mean like when we host Feb's contest and you want to reuse a submission? It's not guaranteed to win if we think it doesn't suit the first time around its unlikely to change opinion the 2nd time around. But For now there is no rule against it.

I'm really glad that you guys are showing interest in the contests :) I hope you guys have a ton of fun with them! Some pretty interesting ideas so far, I feel like we're gonna have a headache picking when we get to the end haha.
