Pixpet Required: Fluffpaxa | NPCs involved: Romeo (CUSTOM NPC: Fluffpaxa with a necktie), Juliet (CUSTOM NPC: Fluffpaxa with a ribbon)

It is a bright morning in Pixpet City. A perfect day to lounge around away from your usual hectic protagonist lifestyle. You are enjoying some fine tea at the cafe close by, sipping it leisurely as you idly watch the other passersby go about their day.

You spot an unusually nervous looking Fluffpaxa seated across you seemingly gazing wistfully in the distance. You turn your head towards the same direction, spotting another Fluffpaxa near the central fountain. The other Fluffpaxa is beautiful, with a ribbon adorned neatly to her fur. She sits at the side of the fountain looking daintily at the rippling waters.

"Oh Juliet, how gorgeous thou may be!"

The male Fluffpaxa comments out loud dramatically, nervously clapping his hooves together. You cannot help but feel nosey about the situation once again.

i have a little question here. Is it possible for the winners to reject receiving the patches? If yes, can they choose any decoration or rare item instead of the patches?

Dont get me wrong, I would love to have some pixpet official merch someday, but in case of being one of the winners, i just don't feel very safe righ now to share my home address. I also live in a very isolated place and I'm afraid of shipping and cost issues.

I believe other players may have the same problem.

Does winning mean 1st place or 1-3rd place? I’m assuming it’s the latter because 1-3rd place all will receive patches.

I’m not exactly sure what happened last contest period, but I assumed the error was because someone won twice and people thought it wasn’t fair? In my opinion though, I think it’s more unfair that someone isn’t able to win twice. Let’s say we submitted for 2 contests, and both of them were loved by the judges. But because the person can only win once, the judges can only the one they like the most out of the 2. The other idea (the idea less liked in comparison) would be forced to not be included in the top 3 for another contest, even though it was really good. There’s no rules against resubmitting, but it’s highly discouraged. So, the person would’ve assumed that their other idea would be bad and never resubmit it, even though the judges thought it was good. As long there’s some sort of restriction with winning (either 1st place or 1st-3rd place), this would still be a problem. If it’s only 1st place then the problem would be less but still restricting us. The judging is based off our ideas, why should it be restricted like this?

And what if the person who won doesn’t want a patch? The extra patch could be raffled off to the others through discord or something, I just think that the reason why we can’t win twice is weird.

Also, another problem, badges. From patreon we could see that there’s 4 badges, and they come in 3 different colours, gold, silver and bronze according to the place you got in the contest. Considering that you can’t score top 3 in more than one contest in one contest period, it would take I think at least 1 year to get all the badges, not to mention that you have score 3rd, 2nd and 1st once exactly each time. Wouldn’t that be unnecessary long and hard? I think it could be counted as an event badge, and be like you scored 1st in a contest (any)! 2nd in a contest (any)! 3rd in a contest (any)!
