Hi, I was thinking it might be useful to have a real estate thread separate from the Dealer's Den now that several people are selling their houses. I posted to the Dealer's Den checking for interest in selling my Designer Two Story House (as well as putting a note in my user profile), but my post was quickly buried by posts for selling items.

In this time, three of that house were sold from the server, whereas perhaps if there was a separate, more visible thread for buying and selling houses, someone could have saved a couple hundred PC, and I would have been able to sell the house sooner.

Hopefully others would find such a thread helpful as well. Thanks!

Yes, the thought that not all people use the forum did cross my mind, and I like the idea of changing the name to something like "Buy Used House."

Still, I think a thread separate from the more numerous item sales would help bring more attention to houses that perhaps are not yet on the market, but for when sellers are looking for potential buyers. I did not have my house on the market at the time of the posting because I wanted to check if there was interest first, but then after 3 houses sold within a day from the server with no response to the post, I decided that was enough sign of interest. But it would be nice to at least have a more direct opportunity for more communication.
