The Rarity Excluder has been renamed to Item Rarity Excluder. As the name says it can only be used for items now! The effect stays the same.

A new potion has been added! The Pixpet Rarity Excluder. It can be used to find pixpets and excludes rarity down to 50. A new recipe has been added with a new item called Potassium. Potassium is a Potion/Evobar Ingredient that can be found on hoards with a 60% rarity.



The recipes for the excluders now require 4 times more resources (Except the Stew)!

The Level (LVL) of a Pixpet does not affect the finding chance anymore! Instead it determines how rare items are that a Pixpet can find. Example: A LVL 0 Pixpet can only find Items/Eggs with a rarity from 100-70. A LVL 20 Pixpet can only find Items/Eggs with a rarity from 100-50. Pixpets above LVL 70 can find items with all rarities. This change has been made so that low level Pixpets are now much more likely to find something on hoards giving new players more motivation to play.

This means that the Level Increase Potion is now only effective for lower level pixpets! It should not be used anymore for pixpets above LVL 70.

The finding chance is now only influenced by the rarity of the item/egg and the SLVL of the pixpet. An SLVL of 100 doubles the finding chance. The SLVL is not so important anymore for low level pixpets, but can make a big difference at higher levels.

Finding Chance Example:
Item with Rarity 25 and Pixpet with SLVL 100: 50% Finding Chance for a finding attempt.
Item with Rarity 25 and Pixpet with SLVL 50: 38% Finding Chance for a finding attempt.

Some items can be found with a Grade and/or Quantity:

The item quantity now depends on the rarity of the item ceil(rarity/10). Very rare items can only be found x1 now. Example: Liquid Turquoise with rarity 80%: Max Finding Quantity: x8
However you will only get SLVL% of the quantity. So with SLVL 100 you will get x8, with SLVL 50 you will get x4.

The grade of an item find now depends entirely on the SLVL: SLVL 100 = Grade 100 +-15 random variance (min 0, max 100).

The Pixpet Potion has been nerfed and is now half as effective as the item find potions. The Recipe for the pixpet potion now requires 2* the resources (Except the Pixeldust Stew).

The code for hoards has been entirely updated which means (as always) new bugs could have sneaked in. Please report anomalies to our Bug Forum. Thank you!

Also, destroying an item or releasing a pixpet egg directly from the hoards page will now give a warning.

Mechanics for Item Mass and Item Color were left untouched!

I started brewing a pixpet potion some hours ago and wanted to pick it up just now, only to find not a pixpet potion but a potion of failure. Any chance I can get my items back, since there was no way I could have known this would happen? It was one yellow pumpkin grade 100, two voxel fruits grade 100, one pixledust stew grade 74 (or 76, not sure) and one honey.
