heya! I'm sorry if this totally came out of left field and doesn't fit in any topic whatsoever, so I chose events as that was what I had in mind for this topic!

I've been playing pixpets for a few months or so and I really enjoy the housing/furniture system that the game has. however during the time that i've been playing, I felt that there was something that was lacking. While looking at the website header I realised what it was - a short story to the game!

Now I think that this may have been suggested frequently but I checked the last few forum pages just to be sure if there were any posts similar to mine. Pixpet has events that are announced regularly, but they are more of the kind relating to the game's meta (crack the egg code, etc) rather than, say, the story behind the legendary pixpets. I was pretty drawn to the three legendary pixpets and I wanted to know more about how they came about, aside from the entries.

What I have in mind is, rather than a robust and long story that requires thorough and continuous effort / becoming the mainstay of the game, I propose sitewide events that give story to the world of Pixpets. One example I can think of would be something like Dragon Cave's events that occur during specific seasons, such as Christmas and Halloween. There is a mini game themed event that we can play, and for the latter, a story that allows us to choose our own path (thus leading to different endings).

The rewards at the end can be a badge, or depending on how well you did in the event, say a new furniture for your house! Thi

A Xeldron having crashed landed near your home and we have to gather / grow items to help it back. Along the way, you learn more about its life and what the area where it lives feels like. Using the many ingredients that you have in your Inventory, such as Seeds, we can combine to feed Xeldron, and at the same time, clear out your inventory! (*looks at own Inv*)

You can go to the event through a dropdown in the game menus, or even better, a new tab just for the event. in my opinion, the events that are currently present aren't announced well, as they appear in a tab and then gets deleted (causing players to forget that there is an event running in the forums at the moment).

I tried my best to visualise how I think it could be implemented. I like Pixpets and love the system, but i think we can do more to immerse players in the game.
