Nr. 1 #46483 2
Description of the Bug:
Cannot edit the contents of my house using the house editor, due to the tab on the right being completely blank.

Steps to reproduce:
Game > Housing > House Editor 1.0

What should have happened?
Should be able to edit the contents of your house.

What did happen?
for a split second, before loading the inventory, the house editor shows me a room in my house, like so:
Screenshot

then when my inventory loads, what is visible of my house seems to get pushed offscreen:
Screenshot

I cannot scroll down, and zooming out on the webpage, unfortunately, does not help.
(apologies for the clunky screenshot links, i could not for the life of me figure out image embedding)

My System:
Windows 10, Firefox

I’ve gotten this bug too when trying to use the decorator on my Windows 10 pc, but I can use it just fine on my phone and Mac.

Edit: Btw here’s how to embed images

Huh, I think I tried that and it didn't work. I prolly just did something wrong.

On the bright side, the house editor does work in edge (not gonna bother downloading chrome) so I can technically use the editor, I just have to open it in an entirely different browser. Inefficient, but not the worst thing in the world

I use Firefox on my Mac and I was able to get it to work. Maybe it’s an issue with Firefox for Windows?

About the embedding: If the links work when using [url], they should also work when using [img], though they need to be direct links to the images themselves (ie the link should end in .png, .jpg, or .gif).

Try trimming it off; that might get it to work, although I heard Discord recently changed their image system so that images break without the junk at the end.

Yeah, this has been a problem in firefox for awhile. As a workaround you can narrow the window so it's forced to rearrange things so that the room's right below the items list, and that should display correctly. Firefox just doesn't like them side-by-side for some reason.

I’m able to use the decorator just fine on Firefox, though my main computer is a MacBook. I suspect it’s an issue with Firefox for Windows.

Edit: As mentioned earlier I also have a computer running Windows 10. I also use Firefox on that pc but the decorator doesn’t work.

When I reported this bug earlier (Link), I had tested both Firefox and Chrome on windows 10 and my Android tablet. Chrome worked on both with any orientation/window ratio, while Firefox only worked with portrait/tall, narrow window.

Think this is the first time someone's tried Firefox on MacBook, so that's a new data point.

So I guess it's:
Firefox on Windows 10 = Only works with narrow window
Firefox of Android = Only in portrait
Firefox on MacBook = Works for some reason?

What a weird bug.

That’s what it appears to be ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I’ll go test this on my Windows PC later.

What a weird bug.

Definitely seconded. XD

Edit: I opened up the decorator in FF on my PC. I saw one of my rooms for a split second before it got pushed down by the black bar listing the names of my rooms. When I turned off fullscreen and changed the shape of the window to be vertical, it worked.
Edit 2: Opened up the decorator in Chrome on my PC. Worked like normal, but the site as a whole was much slower.
Edit 3: Opened it up in Chrome on my laptop. Worked fine, but was slow.
Edit 4: Opened it up in FF on my laptop; same thing happened as with FF on the PC. So Firefox for Mac isn't perfect after all.
