so the albino xeldron (i believe its called?) egg auction got me thinking. what kind of pixpet recolors would you like to see? or perhaps different forms of a pixpet, for example like shaymins regular form and sky form from the pokemon series.

this can be for xeldrons or other species, doesnt matter!

personally, i think a white and gold canisqua could look really neat, the white being where the brown is. maybe with red eyes?

lol not even shiny Pokemon are that rare. Maybe something more like 0.1 percent? One in 1000 pixpets will be shiny.

@hunter-z, I mean. You can go and ask him if you want, but I don't really like the idea of pixpets looking different based on their color groups. Such as, if I were to get a lime or brown pixpet, I'm sure many people would prefer a different looking pixpet than those colors. Not only that, if they affected your pixdex it'll make matters worse. So if it was ever a thing, the color variations, shouldn't be in the pixdex. Color variations should be reserved for holiday and extra themed pixpets like Albino, Halloween, Winter themed pixpets. Also, I think the term color variation pixpets will all have slight sprite edits along with recolers like albino xeldron's extra tail spike so I don't think the pixpet recolors if they are a thing should be put there.

While it'd be cool, it's moreso elements. Technically, all colors come from the sprite that we already have.

@hunter-z yeah! i mean like pokemon i think a default color thats the norm could be registered to the pixdex? idk, i just find it interesting that the xeldron has an albino form but no other pixpets! i understand wanting to put money into new pets instead, but i think plenty of people would be willing to contribute to a community effort for free!

and i think maybe there could be like recolor contests where winners could be rewarded pixcoins or maybe an egg of the new recolor.

something that stood out to me in flight rising was the monthly holidays to grind for and get goodies from, as well as the monthly skin contest.

Idk about recolours, but I'd love to see special holiday-edition pixpets! Like a winter/christmas themed Pydeer or something!

I would absolutely lose my mind for some "shiny" pixpets. I already love shiny hunting in the pokemon games, whether it be soft resetting, chaining, full odds. Adding this kind of rare color swap feature would add another layer of value to the eggs.
I want to hatch 100's of Troffinch eggs JUST so I can get a Parrogrine that's purple and blue instead of green and orange.
