was running through my list of people to return interactions to when i came across this one that "looks like this user does not exist."
uhm... wha?
how can somebody interact but not "exist"??
i don't even know if i should mention the user's name or not. (i.e. i don't know if they got into trouble This soon & i'm walking in to a hornet's nest if i outright say the name.)
if somebody could tell me how to handle this, i'd sure appreciate it. i'm not even sure who i should contact about something like this. i'm just too new here to know who to go to or what's unofficially "off limits".
(every place has something like that. that officially isn't really brought up either way but Unofficially is frowned upon as a topic of discussion. sorta like religion n politics at the Christmas dinner back home... sure you can talk about it, but Gran's gonna whack your tail with the gravy spoon for causing a fight at the table!)
could a mod touch bases with me when ya have a moment about it, if necessary?

ah, that makes sense. glad to know you folks use a different message depending on the situation. some places i've been in, in the past, the person just poofs. no note, no forwarding addy, just pulls a Jimmy Hoffa & asking questions (just like in the case of Mr. Hoffa) was frowned upon.
in some ways, it made sense... if somebody did something really bad, i can see the site not wanting to generate more public interest and attention. but some times it was just plain... well, unnerving. like, eyah, asking questions about a missing dude with questionable tendencies. >>;;

my nerviness aside, thank you for answering me. i appreciate the patience that may need to be used when somebody comes asking questions that may or may not be obvious given enough time. ^^;;
